Coffee, what else?
Being
a self- described coffee addict, I can never go without this delicious drink.
For
me a good day starts with a hearty breakfast and- of course- a cup of coffee.
I
usually have three cups of coffee per day; one in the morning and two in the
afternoon.
Many
of my friends think that this habit of mine is very funny but for me coffee is
already part of my daily routine.
Because
of my passion for coffee I have tried to find out a bit more about the drink
itself and I have found some facts which are very interesting but also quite
amusing.
So:
Get you a cup of coffee and enjoy!
Interesting facts about coffee:
1)
If you are tired and you need to wake up- coffee
really helps. The caffeine heightens your concentration and your
physical ability.
2)
Can you get addicted to coffee? – No, not really, coffee is not a “drug”. If you
drink coffee on a regular basis your body just gets used to all the caffeine,
but it wouldn’t have any impact on your body if you suddenly would stop
consuming coffee.
3) Coffee
protects you from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and Parkinson’s disease. An average coffee consumer is less likely to suffer
from Parkinson’s disease than someone who doesn’t drink coffee.
Curious- Coffee shops for cats!
Funny
fact: If you go to a coffee shop in Japan you can’t only drink a coffee- no-
you can even pet a cat!
There
are several coffee shops where cats are kept as pets. The cats live in the
coffee shops and the customers can play with them and pet them.
Soon
there might even be a coffee shop like this in Berlin...
